We said that Sony Ericsson's Xperia X10 was landing at the Rogers and that's what precisely has happened. The wait for the Canadians folks is finally as over Xperia X10 is now available for $149 with a 3 year deal which is more of a norm in Canada.

The overly due phone runs the not so impressive Android 1.6. But the good news here is that the Android 2.1 will be making X10 its home as revealed by the Canadian carriers themselves. To make sure that they get their voice heard, they made a small video showing some of the cool features of the phone namely Timescape and Mediascape.

The question here that one needs to ponder over is - Will Sony Ericsson pay for its delayed launch of the device and ignoring the obvious - stock the phone with Android 2.1?
