Well well well, what we have here, RIM looking to join the Tablet party. BlackBerry Leaks reports that RIM folks are working on an iPad competitor.

If the source has got it right, the RIM will be revealing a Tablet that is smaller and slimmer than the iPad. The Tablet which will be running a fully powered BlackBerry OS also has a couple of catchy names to it – BlackPad or Cobalt.

Well this was always expected, a trend setting iPad getting trend followers. The question is what chance they stand against the magical gadget which has already reached the 1M count in less than a count. Here is the troubling point – the makers of BlackBerry intend to launch it in 2011. Will that be a bit too late?
