Sharp has finally announced the release date of their Galapagos tablets. Available in 5.5-inch and 10.8-inch models, both tablets support Wi-Fi, a web browser, a microSD port, a modified version of the Google Android OS, several games and a huge library of e-books. The 5.5-inch model has a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, while the 10.8-inch model boasts a resolution of 1366 x 800 pixels. The 5.5-inch and 10.8-inch Sharp Galapagos tablets are priced at 39,800 Yen ($473) and 54,800 Yen ($652), respectively. Watch the video after the jump.
