Plextor is proud to announce their newest line of SSDs called the M2S. Coming in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB sizes, these 2.5-inch SSDs are equipped with MLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a Marvell 88SS9174 controller, a 128MB of DDR3 cache memory, TRIM support and promise to provide read/write speeds of up to 370/110 MB/s (64GB model), 420/210 MB/s (128GB model) and 480/330 MB/s (256GB model), respectively. The M2S SSDs will start shipping next month, however, there’s no word on pricing yet. [Plextor]
